FedEx is the WORSE delievery company ever!!
This is not the first time that I have had issues with FedEx in the past but I am all about giving a company a chance to fix their mistakes. I ordered baking supplies for an upcoming wedding cake order for one of my clients. With the baking company I put a rush on the order so that I can get it in enough time before the wedding. My packages arrived in Philadelphia on Saturday and was out for delivery the same day. I made sure I didn't make plans so that I could be there to receive the packages. Around 5pm I checked online to see if the package was still out for delivery and it stated that the customer was not home to receive the package but indeed I had been home all day. I HADN'T heard a knock on the door, my bell DID NOT ring and I DIDN'T even get one of those door tags to let you know you missed a package! At this moment I decided it was best to request for my package to be held at my local FedEx facility so that I can just pick it up myself! Well..... It has now been 4 days and my package still has not made it back on the truck to be taken to my local FedEx store... My client's wedding Is in 2 days and because of FedEx I am going to loose out on business and most likely not be recommended to anyone else because I can't even get my packages on time! Every day I called FedEx customer support 2 times a day and was given the same run around story about how my request should have only taken 24 hours and that it will be at the store the same day. I wish that there was an option when placing an order for which delivery service you would prefer because I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE FEDEX for my packages! I am also spreading the word and telling everyone not to use FedEx because they are so unprofessional! I just want to state for the record that I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH UPS!!
