WASTE OF MY TIME

Just wow. Someone mailed a package to me for work purposes that failed delivery three times because they kept delivering it at noon, you know, when I'm at work like the rest of the world. I called before the final attempt and asked them to please deliver it after 2, so that I could get home early and receive the package. They said they could only "put in a request" and of course the next day, my package was delivered well before 12. I asked them to hold it at a location, and the only one they could deliver it to was 30 minutes from my house, when there are about 8 fed ex locations in the city I live in. It was re-routed to the store and I was unable to pick it up that following Monday. I call today to ask if I could just have it re-delivered because spending almost an hour and a half retrieving a package that I didn't even order seems like a huge waste of my time the day before Thanksgiving. They said they could not do this because there is only "one request per package" WTF DOES THIS EVEN MEAN? You mean, your customer service ends after one request essentially. They said that I would just have to pick up my package, "sorry". They also only make a telephone call when it's "absolutely necessary" I will never use fed ex in the future simply because of this one experience. I will use Amazon, who are AWESOME because they call you every single time they deliver a package to make sure you're home and will COME BACK later that day, UPS, and even the postal service does a better job than this!!! FAIL
