FedEx Saves the Day!!!!! - CUSTOMER SERVICES
On a Monday that did not lend itself to being an easy one, I YES ME, managed to drop my cell phone into a self serve FedEx drop box. You may say "way to go" which is far less than what I said to myself as I was dialing the 800 number listed on the box. The customer service rep I dealt with felt my pain (I am thinking I not the only unlucky sod that may have done this) and proceeded to contact the dispatch office that handled that area. He assured me that I would be called back but it would most likely be at the time of day that the box was emptied (late afternoon). While I headed out of town for my meeting for the day and thinking I might have just screwed myself I got a call from the driver 20 minutes after I had left town. He did not make me feel as if I just messed up his day but asked for my address and told me he would make sure it was delivered and put in a location where it would not be taken by someone else. THANK YOU FedEx for helping me out on a day that I had set myself up to fail. Your efficiency and compassion was greatly appreciated!
